SOT-WebsEdge Partnership Produces SOT TV

Doctor A. Morrie Craig, a resident of Corvallis, Oregon, has a career in academia spanning 41 years. In addition to conducting research in toxicology and teaching at a Pac-12 institution, Dr. A. Morrie Craig is also a member of the Society of Toxicology (SOT), an organization comprised of researchers and professionals from government, academic institutions, and private industry who advance science and increase the impact of toxicology.

In December 2021, SOT announced that it renewed its partnership with WebsEdge to launch SOT TV, which will happen simultaneously with the 2022 SOT Annual Meeting and ToxExpo. SOT TV introduces viewers to topics on toxicology research, SOT initiatives, organizations, and other toxicology-related subjects.

As a part of the 2022 Annual Meeting, SOT TV will provide content delivered on screens throughout the San Diego Convention Center. The television platform will also have a dedicated channel in some select San Diego hotels and place content across SOT’s social media channels.

In addition, WebsEdge plans to reach out to organizations to provide more information about SOT TV and encourage them to submit information regarding their own institutions and research to be featured on the channel. According to the December 2021 release, this presents an exciting opportunity for organizations to be featured on SOT TV.
